Miami Music Week 2025: The Ultimate Dance Music Experience Returns

Miami Music Week (MMW), also known as Ultra, is one of the world’s most recognized

electronic music events. Historically, MMW began in 2011, taking place from March 24-27 and ending at the same time Ultra Music Festival concluded it’s 13 th year edition.

The Growth of Miami Music Week and Ultra Music Festival


Miami Music Week has continued to thrive every year and is ultimately becoming one of the world’s largest congregations of dance music lovers. Ultra Music Festival was created in 1999 by Russell Faibisch and Alex Omes. First held on Miami Beach, it traveled a little and became consistently held at Bayfront Park in downtown Miami. Ultra generates millions of economic opportunities and impact.

Ultra’s Return and the Global Impact of Miami Music Week

In 2022 after suspension, Ultra resumed along side the Winter Music Conference — an event focused on electronic music and the industry. Miami Music Week — a larger program of electronic music concerts and events held across the region, including separate events and parties, usually lead to the main events at Ultra. Over a course of 3 days, MMW is representative of ninety countries and hosts 165,000 fans.

Miami Music Week is one of the world’s transformative music events. In it’s tenth year, the MMW brand has embraced events in the city as every venue opens it’s doors for a week-long marathon of concerts featuring collaborations with almost every artist in the electronic music world.
